Today's card's image is from Debbie at the Paper Creator Store and comes from the Chef 6x6 card kit. I kept it CAS only adding a sentiment which is included in the kit. The theme this month is Something for the kids, don't most kids love spaghetti and meatballs

Something for the Kids

Good morning everyone, I am thrilled to have been asked to join the Paper Creator Design Team by the talented Debbie who creates the wonderful kits available here.

The theme this month is Something for the Kids , it isn't essential to use Paper Creator products but you will gain an extra entry if you do.

This is the Sweet as Honey Shelf Card Kit and it was amazingly straight forward to assemble as it comes with really clear and precise instructions.

After cutting out all the elements and folding the tabs as per the instructions it all slots together really easily to create the dimensional card shown above.

The kit also includes the box to put your card in.

Please pop over to the Blog to see the wonderful inspiration from the Design Team, we would love you to join in, you could win a £10 coupon to spend in the shop.

Baby Boy

Good morning everyone, I am thrilled to have been asked to join the Paper Creator Design Team by the talented Debbie who creates the wonderful kits available here.

This card was a last minute rush for a friend to give to a new mum. The Blue Baby Bear Scales Ultimate Kit includes several papers as well as the baby bear images and co-coordinating bows.

We have a dull dreich wet morning here, I had planned to be in the garden today, as we were out yesterday, the strawberries are ripening nicely and some are ready to pick, at least I won't have to water the veg plot or the fruit trees.

Birthday Tag

Thank you to my followers for their continuing support I appreciate the time you take to leave a comment, especially in the beautiful weather when we all want to be outdoors.

The garden is progressing slowly, the fruit trees look as though we can expect a good crop and the raised vegetable beds are coming along nicely, there will be plenty of fruit and veg to pickle and make jams and chutneys in the autumn.

I have a few friends and family members with a big birthday coming up, I've made cards with matching cards for each of them, I'll show the card which this tag goes with at a later date.

Christmas Houses

I bought a few Hunkydory Little book selections on Ebay at the end of last year and decided that they mustn't lie in the drawer for ever, Teamed with papers that were free with the Die Cutting Essentials Christmas Special and some Spellbinder die cuts. Another card to add to the Christmas Box.

A pleasant day here now after a wet start, not too hot thankfully. We had quite a few birds nesting in the garden this year and have been putting nuts and fat balls out on a daily basis, we are now going through at least 8 fat balls a day and often see 30+ birds at the feeders. It's lovely to see them.

A totally different colour scheme today, bold bright and summery, the image and papers were free from Making Cards magazine last summer, the flowers were made with a Sue Wilson die and foamarin.
We had a beautiful morning then about 3pm thunder and lightening with torrential rain for almost an hour, the lightening was spectacular.
Thank you to all who continue to visit and leave comments I really appreciate the time you take.

Christmas Carollers

My Christmas box has been sadly neglected, hence a Christmas card today, the image is from TLC, embossing folders from Crafter's Companion and my Spellbinder poinsettia die with foamarin for the blooms, this is the first time I have used the foam and it was really easy to achieve the dimension on the flowers.

With Love

A vintage style engagement card today, it's quite simple but reminds me of past times, miserable weather after last week's glorious sunshine, I plan to watch some DVD's the boys have given me.

35th Wedding Anniversary

This year we celebrate our 35th Wedding Anniversary, my hubby is terrible at remembering dates, when he was managing a Nursing Home the local florist used to phone and remind him of our wedding anniversary, since then it's been downhill I'm afraid, dates just aren't his thing. I'll give this to one of the boys to give to him in case he forgets a card.

Coral is the theme for this anniversary so I tried to achieve that hue by mixing orange and pink shades of Promarkes and Flexmarkers. I didn't add a greeting so that I can use the card for something else should he remember.

Challenges my Spellbinder roses die is one I use a lot for embellishments.

Monday, 1 May 2017

My nephew is being married this summer and I have made a couple of cards which I think are suitable, this is the first though both have a vintage feel to them ,I will show the other at a later date.

The image was free from The Graphics Fairy there are loads of beautiful images there, it's well worth a look. Lace, pearls and flowers to finish.

Many thanks to followers old and new, my most recent being Sharon Goold I love to read your comments and appreciate the time you take to visit.
